How does it work?

Our program is completely individualized with one-on-one instruction tailored to your needs and goals. All packages are custom-made to each student’s shooting style, skill level, and final objective. Students can choose to focus on one sport or learn to shoot multiple sports.

What do I need?

Sports photography requires more advanced, and sometimes high-end equipment. Because you will be shooting mostly action packed events with fast moving athletes and objects, you need the right tools to get the job done. With that being said, you cannot use a point and shoot camera or a smartphone. You also need a computer for after shoot activities such as image editing and captioning.

What camera equipment do I need?

Minimum of one (1) digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera (No point-and-shoot or smartphones are allowed)
A wide-angle lens
A telephoto lens
Computer

If you don’t have the required camera equipment, you may rent the necessary photo gear from DC Sports Photography Academy.
